Streamer Case as a Tarkov Twitch Drop

Last Chance: How to Claim the Streamer Case

As you might have heard, Battlestate Games and Twitch have a running Drops campaign where you can collect a unique in-game container by buying or donating a subscription to a Tarkov streamer. Here is the official BSG’s news article on that matter. The campaign is available until the 8th of September (9 AM EDT).

Is the case worth it? It’s a matter of perspective, I guess. Firstly, a Twitch subscription is not something everyone can afford. So please, in that case, rather spend the money on something more meaningful for your real life. On the other hand, if you are used to subscribing and supporting your favorite streamers anyway, you now get something nice in return.

The good thing about the Streamer Case (77 slots) is that it will be available throughout future wipes and benefits everyone who attempts to complete the “Kappa” quest. The bad thing is that it is only in PvP right now and can hold only streamer items. But you can do this little trick to repurpose the purple box into a money case:

How to Claim the Streamer Case?

The process is a bit more complicated than usual, so met me break it down for you:

  • Make sure to link your Twitch and Tarkov accounts (Tarkov website, login and go to your “Profile” section)
  • Visit a channel of someone (yeah I stream, too, sometimes) who is streaming in the “Escape from Tarkov” category. The person has to be live!
  • Subscribe or gift a sub (Amazon Prime subs do not count)
  • Open your Twitch inventory and claim the “drop”
  • Back to the Tarkov website: scroll down in your “Profile” section and click on the Streamer Case icon (redeem gift)
  • You’ll get an in-game message from “SYSTEM” with the container.

The most common mistakes people do is a) using Prime subs and b) subbing to someone who is offline right now. So, enjoy the case, and don’t miss other 0.15-related articles on this page!
